Development Proposals for Silsbee Economic Development Corporation Property

The Silsbee Economic Development Corporation is accepting proposals from interested individuals on 26 acres owned by SEDC, formerly known as Silsbee Race Way. SEDC Board of Directors will review proposals at its regularly scheduled meetings on the second Monday of each month. In order for a proposal to receive consideration, it must be submitted to the office of SEDC located at 590 North 6th Street by the first Thursday of each month.

Your proposal should include the following:

• A description of how you intend to develop the property. Please include the type of business and the number of employees you intend to hire.
• A description of what assistance, if any, you need from Silsbee Economic Development Corporation.
• A budget detailing your investment into the property.
• A description of what services are required and the capacity (water, sewer, etc.)
• Any offer for the land you are willing to make.
• Whether you will accept voluntary annexation
• The time frame for building the business
• Any drawings available that depicts the business
